Your impact:

As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer (m/f/x) you are involved in supporting the projects from the initial stage until the go-live stage. You are responsible for designing flexible cloud architectures in an agile environment, ensuring compliance with clean code and software crafting standards. Additionally, you manage the continuous improvement of the infrastructure.

• Innovation: Together with your colleagues you will develop innovative solutions and advise customers on future-proof solutions
• Conception: As part of your position, you will implement proof of concepts and develop various solutions.
• Best practices: Develop best practices for testability, maintainability, and scalability to support an open team culture
• Knowledge transfer: Share best practices and mentor development teams
• Community: Step up and make your contribution, for example by actively taking part in conferences and meet-ups.

Your skillset:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree , or Austrian HTL degree, ideally IT-focused (e.g. (business) informatics, mathematics, or physics), or equivalent education/training/experience
• Experience in programming, software development in the cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP), implementing microservices, cloud infrastructure (e.g. Terraform) and security concepts in cloud-based applications, and containerization (e.g. docker or kubernetes)
• Hands-on in continuous integration and deployment (e.g. Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, Azure TFS) using PowerShell, Linux/Unix-Shell, and cloud deployment models at the enterprise level
• Practical knowledge of interface development and database technologies (e.g., SQL or data warehouse), and nice to have experience in machine learning libraries and NLP
• Fluent English and German (B2) language, both written and spoken and willing to travel occasionally
